"DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION"
I am disabled with severe osteoarthritis. I had 2 knee replacements in my early 40's and an ankle fusion 2012. Retained Don Harvey of Conte Jaswal March 2017. No correspondence from him in 9 months. I set up a mtg in Dec. 2017 and he asked where the fall happened. I said I wanted to talk to Jane Conte the founder of the firm. She did not ask me any questions about my slip and fall 2017 and trip and fall 2019. She would not go any further with my case until I put $1300.00 out for a causation letter from my top surgeon downtown Toronto. That was very upsetting. That is part of the disbursements. I had not worked since my first fall but she never asked about that or cared. She is very cold and money hungry. I received no empathy, compassion or assistance with my unfortunate accidents. My surgeon made it quite clear both knees would need replacing. Shortly after this she suggested I find another lawyer. No real reason was given. 2 years were wasted. Disability Discrimination is what it comes down to. If you have a pre-existing condition they are not interested in your case. They fear and do not understand these type of injuries. I need involvement from the Human Rights Tribunal. Do not use this firm.
